Created under the direction of renowned whisky maker Ichiro Akuto, the blend combines whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, Canada, and the United States with Chichibu’s own Japanese single malt. Components ranging from approximately 4 to 17 years old are brought together using a variety of casks, including ex-bourbon and ex-rye barrels. Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich aromas of cola, caramelized shortbread, sweet tobacco, citrus and gentle smoke.
Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated with flavors of candied orange, dried pineapple, dark chocolate, malt and warming spice, complemented by subtle peat smoke.
